Can I get a consultation before booking?

Accepted Answer

Every hair appointment includes a consultation as part of the booking. Colour, perm, treatment and extension appointments usually involve a separate advance consultation because the timing and approach depend on the outcome. What services do you offer?

Cuts, colour (balayage, highlights, tints, colour correction), perms, hair extensions, men's hair systems, hair smoothing treatments, and blow-drys. Full prices on our price list. Some appointments — extensions, complex colour work, hair systems — need an advance consultation before booking; we'll arrange that by phone, WhatsApp or email.

Are you curly hair specialists?

Yes. Almost half our haircut appointments now involve curly hair, and clients regularly travel from outside Oxfordshire to find us. Not every stylist on the team is a curly specialist — we'll book you with one of the specialists if you ask. More on our curly haircut page.

Do you offer balayage?

Yes — it's one of our most-booked colour services and we'd identify as balayage specialists. New colour clients should book an advance consultation first; we can do that by phone, WhatsApp or email. More on our balayage page.

Do you offer men's haircuts or an Abingdon barber service?

Accepted Answer

Yes to haircuts — we're stylists rather than traditional barbers, so the focus is on the cut itself rather than wet shaves or razor work. Scissor cuts and clippers both available, 30 to 45 minutes per appointment. We'll match you to the right stylist based on what you're after. More on our men's hair page.

Do you offer men's hair systems?

Yes. Hair systems are fitted privately on our first floor — a separate, enclosed space with its own access, designed for discretion and one-on-one appointments. Every system starts with a free consultation. More on our men's hair systems page.

Do you offer autism-friendly, hijab-friendly, LGBTQ+ or silent appointments?

Yes to all four. Let us know before booking — call, WhatsApp or email — and we'll arrange the right setup. Our first-floor space is designed for quieter, one-on-one appointments away from the ground floor, with reduced noise and footfall. No additional cost for one-to-one appointments.

Can you help me with a perm?

Yes — last year we averaged one perm a day. Many salons no longer offer perms because the technique demands ongoing practice; we still do them often enough to stay sharp. Beach wave, spiral, volume, and men's perms all available. More on our perms page.

Do you sell hair products in salon?

Yes — we stock JOICO and 72 Hair products. Our stylists recommend products specific to your hair type and any concerns discussed during your appointment.

Do you have salons in Didcot or Wantage?

Accepted Answer

Not currently — our Abingdon salon is our only location. Plenty of our clients commute from Didcot, Wantage, Faringdon, and surrounding areas though.
