A consultation followed by a Wash & Cut without any blow dry or styling. If you don't mind forgoing a blow dry or styling service, this is a simpler and more efficient service, focusing solely on cutting.
Wash, Cut & Blow Dry

A consultation followed by a Wash, Cut & Blow dry. This is our go-to and our most popular service. A blow dry not only helps you feel great after a relaxing cut, but allows both you and the Stylist to see the finished cut.
Restyle
£59 - £64
A consultation followed by a ladies Restyle. This service includes a wash, haircut, blow dry and style. If you are looking for a change, having more than two inches off your ends or your hair is thick and in need of extra time, select a Restyle! A restyle also carries with it a more thorough consultation to work through your likes, dislikes and what you're hoping to achieve.
Curly Haircut (Long/Thick)
£59 - £64
A consultation followed by a Curly Haircut. A specialist service for long and/or thick curly hair. Unlike most haircuts this is a specialist service and is more bespoke. Curls vary and therefore so does the type of haircut. Once booked, we encourage you to contact us to discuss your requirements if you have longer or thicker than average hair in order to amend your service time to meet your needs. This appointment type is by no means fixed. The appointment type can vary quite substantially dependent on curl type, hair texture, thickness and what you set out to achieve.

Meet the Team
Tim – Master Stylist
Tim is the Hair Salon Manager in our Abingdon hairdressers and boasts 30+ years of hair colouring, haircutting, styling and perming experience. Having previously worked in London for, Tim owned a successful hair salon catering to the likes of Robert Pattinson, Holly Willoughby, Anneka Rice and Jack Whitehall (and parents!).
Tim relocated to Oxford a few years ago and is as enthusiastic as they come. He loves to inspire his clients through his love of hairdressing and fashion, believing that both work hand-in-hand. His down-to-earth persona make him a real favourite with clients. Tim’s expertise and knowledge ensure a thorough and detailed consultation. His specialism is in curly hair, highlights, haircuts (including barbering), perms and expert blow drys where clients still travel from London to the salon.
Anya – Senior Stylist
Anya originally grew up in Poland before working her early hairdressing career outside of England. having amassed 12+ years of hairdressing experience, she has worked in England for the last 7 years working in a salon in Bedfordshire and she is a self-proclaimed perfectionist (‘good’ is just never enough).
Anya loves colour work and will stop at nothing to deliver the perfect results. Her specialisms include balayage, highlights, haircuts and hair extensions.
Jacqui – Stylist
Jacqui, originally from South Africa is a Stylist with over 30 years experience.
With a love of all things hair, Jacqui can do haircuts of all shapes and sizes for men and women, highlights, perms and everything else in between!
Chloe – Eyelash Technician
Chloe is a Lash Technician operating under the banner of ‘Lashes by Clo’ in our Abingdon salon. Chloe injects life into the salon having initially started out in nursing before finding her feet with her first love, lashes!

Every hair appointment carries with it a consultation.
Hair colour appointments typically carry two if booking for a first time appointment. These usually take place at the point of skin test and again on the day of the hair colour appointment.
Yes! We stock JOICO and Hair 72 products in salon.
Wisteria Avenue offer most colour services, types of haircut, barbering, blow drys, wedding bookings, perms and more.
In certain cases (for example some bleach work, creative colouring and wedding bookings) cannot be booked online due to a consultation needing to be booked first. This can be booked via telephone, WhatsApp or email.

At Wisteria Avenue Hairdressers we undertake a lot of balayage hair colour work. This is arguably one of our most popular colour services and therefore we would identify as balayage specialists in this area.

Abingdon barbers are slightly different to Hair Stylists, however we do haircuts for mens.
The type of haircut is slightly different (it’s usually a scissor cut, though we can also do clippers if preferable).
Services for mens haircuts or barber haircuts typically range from 30 minutes to 45 minutes.
Our Abingdon hairdressers is currently our only salon.
This may change in the future, however we find that a number of our clients currently commute from Didcot, Wantage and other surrounding areas.
