Each service carries a service description, so if you're unsure what to book, the descriptions are there to help.

Every appointment carries its own consultation. Some are more detailed than others, depending on the complexity of the service.

Hair colours traditionally carry two: one at the point of the skin test, to make sure the booked service is the most beneficial to you and whether any suggestions can be made; and a second on the day of the appointment.

Most other appointments carry at least one consultation.

The term 'restyle' means something different to everyone. In most cases it's our most popular service, because of the high volume of new clients who haven't had a haircut in a long time.

After a few months, hair tends to lose the shape of its original cut. A restyle gives your stylist an additional 15 minutes to make sure the cut fits the original brief — more often than not, a Wash, Cut & Blow Dry (if it's your first haircut in a while) won't allow enough time.

A restyle can mean a minimum of two inches off, or a complete change of style.

Wisteria Avenue offers most hair services. These include, but aren't limited to: haircuts, hair colours (highlights, balayages, ombrés, tints, scalp bleaches), blow drys, perms, children's haircuts, barbering and gents' haircuts.

Yes — we stock JOICO, Only Curls and Hair 72 products in the salon.

There are a few. The most popular services not listed online are creative colours (semi-permanent shades), some bleaching services such as scalp bleaches, and wedding hair bookings.

These are by consultation only, because they're often the trickiest services to schedule time for through our online booking. If you have a more specific request, calling the salon on 01235 534705 is usually the best place to start.

We occasionally run promotional offers and discounts on select hair colour and haircut services. These usually carry a timeframe before they expire, and are at the discretion of the salon.

They don't typically run across December — if you're unsure, please check with the salon before booking.

We do not currently employ any trainee hair stylists.
