A balayage technique involves the same application and technique of any other balayage (usually free-hand ‘foilayage’ form) by painting bleach onto the mid to ends of hair before toning with a brown toner. If choosing the right colour, a brown balayage can add a lot of dimension, sun-kissed ends and in some cases even the illusion of thicker hair! Unlike traditional full head highlights, the balayage technique offers a more natural and soft blend of colours.
