What are the downsides to keratin bond hair extensions?
Hair extensions aren’t for long-term use.
If well looked after, there is no reason why they can’t last for up to 12 months, however 9 months is the accepted industry maximum. For this reason, longer-term usage is a high ticket item and one which requires some maintaining to ensure your extensions are well looked after.

The cost of keratin bonds varies depending on factors such as type, quality, and the application method. Usually they start from around £500 and increase from there. The most expensive in Oxford we could find in 2024 was £1,000.
