Wisteria Avenue is housed in a Grade II Listed building on East St. Helen Street — one of the most characterful streets in Abingdon, a few minutes from the Thames and 60 minutes from central London. The building has the period features, natural light and texture that make it a genuinely distinctive location, while operating day-to-day as a fully-equipped working salon.
The space is available for hire on two bases: occasional / one-off bookings for productions and photo shoots, and regular recurring hire for freelance practitioners — beauty therapists, brow technicians, massage therapists, lash technicians, and other professionals who want a credible, well-equipped base without committing to a full lease.

The space works as a working-salon set out of the box. No additional production design required to make it look authentic — it is one. Period architecture inside and out, contemporary salon equipment, good natural light, and a layout that's been used to camera before.
Hire is most commonly outside our trading hours (Sunday and Monday all day; weekday evenings and mornings by arrangement), so production schedules don't conflict with normal salon operations. We can also accommodate full takeovers during working days when notice allows.
The upstairs space is available on a regular recurring basis to qualified practitioners — beauty therapists, massage therapists, brow technicians, lash technicians, podiatrists, holistic practitioners and similar. You bring your products and clients; we provide the space, the chair, the basin, the kettle and the location.
Most regular hire arrangements work on a fixed day or days each week. A massage therapist taking over the upstairs every Sunday, a brow technician using the room every other Monday afternoon, a freelance hairdresser building a client base in their own time — all examples of arrangements we've considered.
